Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old to use getclip. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@getclip.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may not share your account, create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits, or use automated tools to create accounts in bulk.

getclip operates on a credit-based system. Credits are consumed when you generate videos, narrations, or other AI-powered outputs. The number of credits deducted per generation is shown before you confirm each request.

Credits are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Unused credits do not expire unless your account is terminated for a violation of these Terms.

We reserve the right to adjust pricing and credit costs at any time. We will provide at least 14 days' notice of material pricing changes via email or an in-app notification.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate content that is illegal, defamatory, or harassing.
• Create deepfakes, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content that impersonates real individuals without their consent.
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of third parties.
• Distribute malware, spam, or engage in any activity that disrupts the Service.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract our AI models or underlying infrastructure.
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy without prior notice and without refund.

You retain ownership of the original prompts and creative inputs you provide. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process your inputs solely to deliver the requested outputs to you.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your inputs and the resulting videos comply with applicable laws and do not infringe third-party rights. We do not pre-screen user-generated content.

Videos, narrations, captions, and other outputs produced by our AI are provided on an “as is” basis. We do not guarantee that any output is accurate, original, or free from third-party claims. You should review all generated content before publishing or distributing it.

We make no claim of ownership over AI outputs delivered to you, subject to the license in Section 5 above.

The Service integrates with third-party providers for features such as text-to-speech, image generation, and background music. Your use of those features is also subject to the applicable third-party terms. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party services.

All trademarks, logos, software, and content belonging to getclip — including but not limited to the platform interface, AI model configurations, and branding — are the exclusive property of getclip or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you a right to use our IP outside of what is expressly permitted.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, getclip shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time through your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms, legal reasons, or at our discretion, with or without notice.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 5, 8, 9, 10, and 13 survive termination.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the effective date above and notify you via email or an in-app banner. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which getclip is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.
