Account information. When you register, we collect your name, email address, and a hashed password. If you sign in via a third-party provider (e.g. Google), we receive the profile information that provider shares with us.

Usage data. We log the features you use, videos you generate, credit transactions, and general interaction patterns to improve the Service.

Content inputs. When you submit a prompt, script, or other creative input to generate a video, that text is processed by our AI pipeline. We may retain these inputs temporarily to deliver your outputs and for safety monitoring.

Technical data. We automatically collect your IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and basic performance metrics (e.g. page load times) through standard web logging and analytics tools.

Payment data. We use third-party payment processors. We do not store your full card number or CVV. We receive only a payment confirmation token and billing summary from the processor.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account and authenticate your sessions.
• Process your video generation requests and deliver outputs.
• Manage credit balances and billing transactions.
• Send transactional emails (e.g. email verification, purchase receipts, password reset).
• Send product updates or promotional emails, from which you can unsubscribe at any time.
• Monitor for abuse, enforce our Terms of Service, and keep the platform safe.
• Analyze aggregate usage trends to improve the Service — we use anonymized or aggregated data wherever possible.

We do not sell your personal data. We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers. We work with third parties (cloud hosting, AI model APIs, payment processors, analytics) who process data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements.
• Legal obligations. We may disclose data when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
• Business transfers. If getclip is acquired or merged, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.

Video generation on getclip relies on third-party AI model providers (for example, for text-to-speech, image generation, and video rendering). Your prompts and configuration inputs are transmitted to these providers to produce the requested outputs. Each provider has its own data retention and privacy practices, which we vet before integrating.

We do not use your personal prompts to train our own models without your explicit consent.

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your session. We also use analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used in aggregate. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not function correctly without them.

We do not use advertising trackers or cross-site behavioral tracking.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for fraud prevention.

Generated video files stored on our servers may be retained for up to 90 days after creation to allow you to download them, unless you delete them earlier. After that period they are permanently removed.

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption in transit, encrypted storage for sensitive fields, and regular security reviews. However, no system is completely secure. If we become aware of a data breach that affects your personal data, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate personal data.
• Request deletion of your personal data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.
• Request data portability (receiving your data in a structured, machine-readable format).
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Our servers and service providers may be located in countries other than your own. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your data to those countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for cross-border transfers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above and, for material changes, notify you via email or an in-app notification. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
